Grammar Explained was inspired by conversations with parents in a coffee shop who didn't know their adjectives from their adverbs and were concerned about how they would be able to support their children with their writing at home. The resource is a video tool that actually supports teachers, pupils and parents understand the elements of spelling, punctuation and grammar. The set of videos will give an understanding of terms contained in the appendix of the grammar section of the National Curriculum. These terms are explained and brought to life in simple activities everyone can do at home or at school, with their children.
