I have been working in schools for over 25 years shaping a creative approach to teaching and learning. With a strong belief in harnessing the power of technology to extend learning beyond the classroom I teach children the life skills required for the 21st Century and capture the learning using a range of media.
For me it's all about making a curriculum that is innovative, engaging and relevant and giving children a voice.
Over the years this approach has been celebrated with numerous award personally and for my school. I've been fortunate to win a number of awards, appeared on the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, helped develop online safety resources with central Government and had my lessons turned into a BBC television series.
As an Apple Distinguished Educator I am recognised for my work with Apple technology in the classroom. My use of film, animation and augmented reality is shared through social networks, authored content and training with my work on YouTube viewed over 2 million times.
I work as an Into Film Ambassador, having been selected as Teacher of the Year in 2016, and sit on the Education Advisory Board for Apple Education and the London Grid for Learning.
I work at conferences and schools across the UK and Europe sharing my knowledge, experiences and expertise in the use of technology in the curriculum and leadership in education. I also help schools and teachers develop innovative personal professional development programmes and a creative curriculum that does not compromise standards.
